Zoo Tycoon X2 is the sequel to the X-Box version of Zoo Tycoon and the second game in the rebooted version of the franchise. It features 90 total animals from across 24 different families. Like the previous game, there is heavy emphasis on animal interaction as well as care.
Exhibits[]
As with the previous game, players can create large exhibits or mini-exhibits. Similar to the original series, exhibits can be created by the player from the ground-up, or pre-built exhibits may be purchased instead. Mini-exhibits do have a size limit as to how large they can be.
Unlike the previous game, animals in mini-exhibits can breed, are shown feeding and can be interacted with much like animals in large exhibits, and are not shown merely as a looping animation. It is possible to create mixed species in either large or mini-exhibits, but large exhibit animals and mini-exhibit animals cannot be mixed together.
